A phone-readable NTAG stores an NFC record such as a URL. Access control, transit or payment requires the issuer’s compatible chip and provisioning; an ordinary URL chip does not create those credentials.
Ring sizing and antenna orientation
Use a fitting sample in the exact style, including band width. Test the ring while worn at the intended tap face; the finger and ring orientation change coupling compared with a loose sample.
