Flexible does not mean one size fits all
The body still needs an appropriate inner dimension and a fit that permits normal removal. A rigid ceramic-ring chart cannot be applied to a soft silicone construction.
Keep the encoded link useful
A short URL can point to a maintained landing page while the physical ring remains the same. Decide who controls that destination and whether the chip should remain writable before bulk encoding.
