Disposable PVC RFID Wristbands

Choose the shape, print panel and snap.

Disposable PVC RFID wristbands combine a flexible vinyl strap, a single-use snap fastening and an RFID inlay for event or visitor identification. The WB601–WB607 catalogue includes four dimensioned references with overall lengths of 247, 250, 270 and 290 mm, plus three photographed shapes. Choose by strap outline, fastening and print area, then specify the chip for your admission reader or NFC application.

Construction and dimensions

The closure width and the chip size are different measurements.

The widened end holds the snap; the long strap carries adjustment holes. A separate panel provides room for the RFID assembly and visible identification.

Body & fastening
The supplier describes a soft PVC / vinyl body with a plastic single-use click fastener.
Dimensioned models
247, 250, 270 and 290 mm overall lengths appear in the four drawings below. Other model photos do not carry a scale.
Artwork references
100 × 20 mm for WB602, 90 × 22 mm for WB603, and 85 × 20 mm for WB606.
Hole geometry
WB602 / WB603 / WB606 label Ø3.6 mm holes and 9 mm pitch; WB604 labels Ø3 mm holes and 8 mm pitch.
Printing
The supplier lists screen printing and thermal transfer for logos or numbers. The selected finish and variable data belong on the artwork approval.

Seven catalogue references

Dimensions where the drawing provides them.

WB601–WB607 retain the codes used in this website’s catalogue. Four images carry dimensions; the other three are shape photographs. Drawing labels describe those references, while the approved order drawing identifies the supplied size, tolerance, material and chip.

The long panel is a visible design distinction. Its dimensions and antenna position must come from the matching assembly drawing.

Dimensions above are transcribed from the existing drawings. They are not measured from photographs and do not give the usable closed-wrist range. Final tolerances and fit come from the selected assembly drawing and sample.

Artwork and material colors

Use the actual print panel, not the full strap length.

Keep the logo, ticket number and scannable code inside the agreed print area. Leave the snap and adjustment holes clear. The artwork dimensions printed on three model drawings provide a starting point; the final dieline sets safe margins, bleed and alignment.

The original vinyl color chart contains B1–B21 and C1–C21 references. Include the full prefix and number in your brief. A screen image is an approximate color reference; approve a physical swatch for the ordered material and finish.

Specify the reader interface and the data it needs.

The historical supplier datasheet lists LF and HF families; the current supplier page also names UCODE 8 and UCODE 9. The manufacturer values below compare exact IC behavior. They do not identify the chip in a catalogue photograph.

This is UCODE 8, not 8m. The assembled antenna and on-wrist test determine operating band and distance; the chip range alone does not.

Finished-band read distance depends on the antenna, regional band, reader settings and position on the wrist. The quotation identifies the actual chip and assembly; a shared frequency alone does not establish reader compatibility.

Pink and white wristbands shown flat and close up, with adjustment holes and the two parts of the snap fastening visible.
The close-up shows the fastener and strap holes. A cut elsewhere on the band may leave the RFID inlay readable.

Physical fastening and electronic records

A snap holds the band. Software manages the ticket.

Check the closed fit and visible evidence of attempted opening on a finished sample. A band that is too loose may be slipped off, while a cut outside the antenna can leave the electronic credential readable.

Keep printed ticket numbers and electronic reader values in the same issuing record. Test used, cancelled and replacement tickets in the admission system; physical removal does not itself update the database.

Disposable PVC wristband questions

Are all seven models 250 × 19 mm?

No. The existing model drawings show WB602 at 250 mm overall, WB603 at 270 mm, WB604 at 290 mm and WB606 at 247 mm. Their face, closure and narrow-strap widths also differ. WB601, WB605 and WB607 are photographs without printed dimensions; use a matching order drawing rather than applying one standard size to every model.

How much space is available for artwork?

The drawings label a 100 × 20 mm area for WB602, 90 × 22 mm for WB603 and 85 × 20 mm for WB606. These are artwork references, not final print tolerances or bleed instructions. WB604 does not label a print-safe rectangle. Review the final dieline for the selected band, including the snap, holes, antenna and any visible code.

Does cutting a disposable PVC wristband cancel the RFID ticket?

Not necessarily. A cut may leave the chip and antenna intact. The snap is a physical fastening; ticket expiry, cancellation, replacement and re-entry rules are controlled by the connected admission system. If electrical disablement on removal is required, make that an explicit construction requirement and test the finished sample.

Can a printed ticket number match the electronic credential?

The event system can map the printed ticket number to the value returned by its reader. NTAG213/215/216 have factory-programmed, read-only UIDs; a sequential number can be printed, stored in appropriate writable memory, or mapped in a database. For UHF, specify the EPC value separately from the factory TID. Approve a sample record and readback before issuing the bands.
