Nylon RFID wristbands combine an adjustable textile strap with a separate RFID housing. Choose a side-release buckle, metal pin buckle or hook-and-loop style around how the wearer will fasten and remove the band. The five photographed models below distinguish the housing and closure; the RFID chip is selected for your reader or NFC application.

Product specifications

The strap and the RFID head do different jobs.

The strap determines fit and removal. The housing carries the RFID assembly and provides a visible face for branding.

Construction: Nylon webbing with a separate plastic RFID head is the catalogue construction. The model photos show round and rectangular housing styles.
Fastening: WB501: side-release buckle. WB502: metal pin buckle. WB503 / WB504: hook-and-loop. WB506’s fastener is outside the pictured view.

Head reference: 40 mm across × 37 mm high in both dimension images. The 40 mm line spans the housing including its side lugs.

Open length is not wrist circumference.

Hook-and-loop needs overlap to hold; a pin buckle uses a hole position; a side-release strap folds through the adjuster. Measure the wrist and the band’s closed internal circumference separately. For a mixed group, state your smallest and largest wrist measurements rather than ordering by open length alone.

RFID and NFC chip comparison

The same shape can hold different credentials.

These manufacturer data describe the IC, not the chip inside a pictured sample. Include your reader or system name when requesting a particular wristband.

Nylon wristband questions

Does a 280 mm strap fit a 280 mm wrist?

No. The 280 mm label is the laid-flat length of the pictured hook-and-loop assembly. Folding the strap through its return loop and overlapping the fastening surfaces consumes part of that length. The usable wrist circumference must be measured with the band closed; it is not the same as the open strap length.

Can the strap be changed without replacing the RFID chip?

The photographed round housings have strap slots, and the WB502 rear view shows webbing threaded through the housing. A replacement strap needs to fit those slots and the fastening arrangement. The photo does not establish whether every finished assembly can be dismantled without tools or whether the RFID housing itself can be opened.

Are these adjustable wristbands non-transferable event tickets?

The illustrated side-release, pin-buckle and hook-and-loop closures can be opened. They do not provide the same physical restriction as a one-way event fastening. For admission that requires cutting the band to remove it, compare a fabric wristband with a suitable one-way lock and the intended ticketing controls.

Will the same wristband work with phones and an existing door reader?

That depends on the installed chip and reader protocol. NTAG21x supports NFC Type 2 content, EM4200 is a read-only LF identifier, and DESFire EV3 uses a different command and application system. A matching housing or operating frequency alone does not make credentials interchangeable.
